Sprouting dish not included
Instructions for use
- Fill the sprouting dish with tap water up to the bottom of the grid.
- Spread a thin layer of seeds evenly with a little space between them on the grid.
- Place the sprouting dish at room temperature, in a light spot, but not in direct sunlight.
- Check the water level daily and replenish it to the grid if necessary. As long as the seeds do not yet have sprout roots, they must remain moist, but not soaked.
After two days, the seeds will be attached to the grid with their sprout roots, and you can change the cloudy water.
Continue to check the water level daily. The sprout roots should be in the water, but keep the sprouts dry. This reduces the chance of problems with mold.
The sprout roots above the grid may look somewhat fluffy. It resembles mold, but usually these are root hairs. Root hairs grow in a nice circle from the sprout roots and disappear if you spray them with a plant mister.
After 9 to 13 days, the sprouts will be 3 to 5 cm long and can be harvested. Cut them just above the grid with scissors.
