Mesclun 'Pure Lettuce'

Mesclun 'Puur Sla' is a colorful lettuce mix of the varieties 'Red Salad Bowl', 'Suzan', Butterhead Lettuce 'Wonder der Vier Jaargetijden' and 'Little Leprechaun'. This mix can be grown as a baby leaf from spring until late summer.

It has a mild flavor. Harvest young, when the plants are about 10 cm high. If you cut the young plants above the growth point, you can harvest them up to three times.

• Maintain 15 cm between rows.
• Sow at 1 cm in the row and thin out later to 2-3 cm.
• You can also achieve a nice dense crop that is easy to cut into bunches by mixing the seeds with some sand or sugar and sowing them in a row. You then do not need to thin out.

Harvest: after approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

TIP: very suitable as baby leaf (sowing period: April-July)!
