High-quality feed that supports resistance, health, and natural nutrition.
Fibra Anti-itch is a very high-quality feed that supplements the daily needs of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements in addition to a roughage ration. It has been specially developed to bring horses closer to their natural behavior, which contributes to higher immunity and better health.
The base of Fibra Anti-itch roughage mix is similar to Fibra Premium roughage mix, but it also contains special ingredients such as mycotoxin binders, brewer's yeast, live yeasts, beta-glucans, antioxidants, and omega-3. These ingredients help the body stay cleaner, support the liver, and balance the gut flora.
- Contains mycotoxin binders and brewer's yeast for active waste removal
- Contains live yeasts that support gut flora
- No added sugars or molasses
-
Supplements all vitamins, minerals, and trace elements in addition to roughage
- Extra antioxidants for a healthy immune system
- Extra high biotin content for skin, coat, and hooves
Composition
Fibra Anti-itch is very rich in structure, due to alfalfa, timothy, and spelt. This encourages the horse to chew thoroughly and stimulates the intestines, contributing to a healthier digestive system. It is very palatable and is well-received even by the choosiest horses and ponies.
The specific raw materials are specially selected based on their suitability for your horse and their natural vitamin and mineral content.
- Alfalfa: Alfalfa contains a high content of natural vitamins A, B, and E, biotin, minerals, essential amino acids, and trace elements.
- Timothy: very suitable roughage for horses due to its low fructan content (sugar) and good structure. Natural healthy flavoring.
- Spelt: Unlike oats, barley, and wheat, spelt has not undergone agricultural improvements; it is still in its original form. Naturally contains many vitamins, minerals, and trace elements and provides "stimulus".
- Beetroot pieces: Beetroot contains vitamins A, B, and C, contains the substance betaine and makes the mix extra palatable.
- Carrot flakes: Carrot flakes contain a lot of natural pro-vitamin A (Beta-carotene) which can be converted by horses and ponies into vitamin A.
- Linseed oil: Linseed oil is a very high-quality oil that contains many essential fatty acids. These fatty acids contribute, among other things, to a good nervous system and strong bones, and a shiny coat.
- Vitamin and mineral pellet: Supplements vitamins and minerals to the required amount and ensures the correct balance between all nutrients.
- Biotin*: is important for good coat, skin, and hoof quality.
-
Antioxidants*: Antioxidants promote internal cleansing.
- Mycotoxin binder*: mycotoxins are toxic substances produced by fungi. They can occur on grains, roughage, and grass and are invisible.
- Yeasts and live yeasts*: promote internal cleansing and balance gut flora.
-
Beta glucans*:contribute to better immunity and support the immune system.
-
Extra vitamin B12*: a deficiency of vitamin B12 can lead to sensitivity to allergies.
* added to vitamin and mineral pellet
Anti-itch Additions
Many special raw materials have been added to the Anti-itch that actively remove waste products, cleanse the body, optimize gut flora, increase resistance, and have many other positive effects, such as mycotoxin binders, brewer's yeast, live yeasts, beta-glucans, antioxidants, and omega 3. These additions are in the vitamin-mineral pellet, making it darker in color than the pellet in the Premium.
Feeding advice
- Feed sufficient roughage
- Supplement the roughage with the correct amount of Fibra to provide your horse with everything it needs
-
Ensure that your horse is never without roughage for longer than 4 hours, but it is much better to ensure that your horse has something to nibble on 24/7. Possibly use slow feeders.
-
Always ensure your horse has access to sufficient fresh drinking water.

The digestive system needs 10 days to adapt to a change in diet. Therefore, gradually switch to new feed over 10 days.
It is important to feed Fibra Premium for at least 2 months a year instead of Fibra Anti-itch, to prevent the horse's body from becoming lazy in self-cleaning and dependent on the support.
The recommended amount is 200 grams of Fibra Anti-itch per 100 kg of body weight. Because it contains certain raw materials that are only optimally effective in the body at a minimum amount, it is recommended to adhere to this recommended amount.
This amount is sufficient for maintenance and light work. If your horse is working hard, you can safely give it a bit more or supplement with Fibra Premium. In addition to Fibra, you do not need to feed any other pellets or muesli. I even advise against it because other products may contain ballast or disrupt the ratios between different nutrients.
A standard (yellow) feed scoop holds approximately 300g of Fibra. It is wise to weigh how much you put in your feed scoop the first time!
For a cleansing course, it is recommended to feed Fibra Anti-itch for at least 2 months.
sore spots should be smeared with Fibra Anti-itch cream. The experiences of other horse owners from the practical test of Fibra Anti-itch cream are very positive; it relieves itching and supports the skin so it can heal again.
