If your horse is 3 years old but is still growing rapidly or is a bit thin, it is advisable to continue feeding Pavo Podo®Grow for longer.

This feeding advice is based on estimated adult weight

Pony (300kg)

• 6 – 11 months: 1.0 kg
• 12 – 18 months: 0.6 kg
• 18 – 30 months: 0.75 kg
• After 30-36 months, slowly switch to adult horse food.

Horse (600kg)

• 6 – 11 months: 2.1 kg
• 12 – 18 months: 1.2 kg
• 18 – 30 months: 1.5 kg
• After 30-36 months, slowly switch to adult horse food.

Contents of feed scoop One Pavo feeding scoop with Podo®Grow contains approximately 1.3kg.

Tip!

If you feed less than the recommended amount, add half a dose of the mineral supplement Pavo Podo®Care to ensure that the young horse receives all the necessary nutrients. Pavo Podo®Care is also a good alternative to Pavo Podo®Grow if the young horse is overweight. By feeding Podo®Care you do not provide extra energy, but you still provide the horse with all the necessary nutrients for healthy development.

Please note that this product should never be consumed by a horse in excess of 0.85 kg / 100 kg body weight per day.
