Recipe

  • 300 g rye flour (wholemeal or light)
  • 200 g wheat flour (or plain flour)
  • 325 ml lukewarm water
  • 7 g active dry yeast (or 20 g fresh yeast)
  • 10 g salt
  • 1 tbsp oil or butter (optional, for a softer crumb)
  • Optional: 1 tsp honey or molasses (for extra flavor and better yeast activity)
