Basil 'Genovese'

Basil 'Genovese' is an annual, low-growing, and strongly fragrant herb with medium-sized leaves. This variety is very suitable for making pesto. Once the stems harden, only the leaves can still be used. Do not cut stems too deeply.

• Pre-sow in trays or pots, 4-8 seeds per pot.
• Fertilize the soil well
• Basil requires a lot of warmth, light, nutrients, and water.
• Plant out pots or clusters of young plants 20 x 20 cm apart.

Harvest: cut stems approximately 10 cm above ground level. Can be harvested multiple times after regrowth.
