Cocktail tomato 'Phialina F1' (BOL-T-5302) has a unique intermediate resistance to Phytophthora, a fungal disease that can cause significant problems in the cold cultivation of organic tomatoes.
The tall plant with strong foliage is suitable for outdoor cultivation or cold greenhouses and forms single trusses, each with approximately 12 beautifully round fruits weighing 35-40 grams that are juicy and tasty. These can be harvested as trusses or individually, with or without their calyx.
Intermediate resistance means that a variety is much stronger against a particular disease but can still eventually be affected by it. Trials show that Phialina performs excellently against Phytophthora.
