Egg food or concentrated feed is a necessary supplement to your birds' seed diet.
Although egg food or concentrates should be fed throughout the year, it is especially important during breeding, development of young birds and moulting. With an incomplete diet, the first problems will become visible during these periods, such as not getting the breeding birds in condition, dead young in the nest and a long moulting period.
The honey in this egg food ensures that the egg food becomes crumbly and hardly dries out.
Any egg food that the birds do not eat should be removed from the aviary, otherwise mold will grow on it.
