Fenugreek sprouts are quite spicy and have a nutty flavour and a mild curry aroma. These sprouts combine well with Indian dishes.

Instructions for use
- Fill the sprouting tray with tap water up to the bottom of the grid.
- Sprinkle a thin layer of seeds evenly, with a little space between them, onto the grid.
- Place the sprouting tray at room temperature, in a light spot, but not in direct sunlight.
- Check the water level daily and replenish it to the grid if necessary. As long as the seeds do not yet have rootlets, they should remain moist but not soaked.
After two days, the seeds will be attached to the grid by their rootlets, and you can change the cloudy water.
Continue to check the water level daily. The rootlets should be in the water, but keep the sprouts dry. This reduces the chance of mould problems.
The rootlets above the grid may look a bit fuzzy. It resembles mould fluff, but usually these are root hairs. Root hairs grow in a nice circle from the rootlets and disappear if you make them wet with a plant sprayer.
After 6 to 10 days, the sprouts will be 5 to 6 cm long and can be harvested. Cut them just above the grid with scissors.
Many seed hulls will grow with the plants. They are edible, but you can also gently rinse the plants in a bowl of water to remove the seed hulls.
