Patentkali® is a fertilizer that primarily contains potassium (K) and magnesium (Mg), plus some sulfur (S). You use it when plants need extra potassium for strong growth, flowering, and resistance.
- Stronger plants: Potassium strengthens cell walls and improves resistance to diseases, drought, and frost. Plants remain sturdier and less floppy.
- Better flowering and fruiting: More and larger flowers and a higher yield for vegetables and fruits. Improved taste, color, and firmness (e.g., tomatoes, strawberries, grapes).
- Increased winter hardiness: Ideal as an autumn fertilizer. Lawns and perennials will get through winter stronger.
- Extra magnesium: Promotes chlorophyll and prevents yellowing of leaves. Ensures a deep green color in lawns.
- Suitable for sensitive plants: Contains no chlorine. Safe for potatoes, fruit trees, grapes, and ornamental plants.
When is it especially useful?
- In sandy soil (often potassium deficiency)
- For crops with high potassium requirements such as:
- Potatoes
- Fruit trees
- Grapes
- Tomatoes
- Cabbage varieties
