Phytonics Gastri Comp is a supplementary feed specially developed to support stomach function and health in horses, ponies, dogs and cats. It helps with a sensitive stomach , supports a good acid-base balance in the stomach and promotes the natural recovery of the stomach lining.

Compound

Application for Horse & Pony

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor or therapist, twice daily:

Horse 2 level scoops
Pony 1-1.5 level scoop
1 scoop for horse and pony contains approximately 3 grams

For animals younger than half a year, personal advice is required. Please contact your vet or us.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, 1 time per day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. Then give the maximum dosage of one day. Even then this product can be used effectively but the reaction may take a little longer.

If there is improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary at first, this product can safely be given in double dosage. If there is improvement, gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.

Some animals may experience a short-term worsening or otherwise react violently at the start of treatment. In case of severe increase, halve the dosage or stop temporarily and then slowly build up again.

Administration
Can be given over the food. Moisten (for dry food) the food/powder so that it is not blown out of the food bowl.

Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue to administer this product for a few more days. In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

This product can be given permanently. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is reason to do so.

Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the bottom of the jar.
