Birds
Yellow millet is eaten by all bird species and certainly during breeding, panicle millet is a real boon, because the seeds of the millet are soft and easy to peel for young birds. In this way, they immediately learn to peel seeds and therefore switch more easily to the hard seeds once the beaks of the young are properly hardened.

Rodents

Millet is a dried grass and can serve as a treat but also as enrichment or decoration to your rodent cage. When you add this as enrichment in the rodent cage, make sure that it cannot be eaten unlimitedly.

Ingredients

Foxtail millet, scientific name Setaria italica, is an annual grass grown for human consumption. It is the second most widely planted species of millet and the most widely cultivated millet herb in Asia. Dried, it is an excellent bird food.

It is rich in proteins, fiber, B vitamins and minerals (phosphorus, calcium, iron, niacin and riboflavin)

Millet contains no added artificial ingredients or preservatives

Application

Yellow millet is a supplementary feed for birds. Give sparingly.
