Birds
Yellow millet is a favorite food for all bird species, and panicle millet is a real boon during breeding season, as its seeds are soft and easy for young birds to peel. This way, they learn to peel seeds right away and transition more easily to hard seeds once the young birds' beaks are properly hardened.
Rodents
Millet is a dried grass and can be used as a treat, but also as an enrichment or decoration for your rodent's cage. If you add this as enrichment to the rodent's cage, make sure it's not in unlimited supply.
